Yuanfeng Li and his partner Max Peara were trailing 6-1 in the deciding tiebreaker of their first round match at the 2010 Daytona ITF, but managed to close that gap and secure the victory 6-4, 4-6, 10-6. The team went on to win three more tough matches on their way to the final.
“This comeback in the first round inspired us a lot and we went on playing with full confidence.” – said Yuanfeng after the tournament. “It is of course somewhat disappointing that we did not perform the same way in the final, but it is my first tournament decider in a long time. I definitely learned my lessons and ready to work even harder in practice”
